Addisyn Claire and Austyn Gail are here!!!!!

The girls made their debut into the world on March 8, 2012.
Addisyn Claire Nance was born at 9:02 AM and was 4 pounds, 7 ounces and 17 inches long.
Austyn Gail Nance was born at 9:03 AM and was 4 pounds, 15.9 ounces and 17 inches long.

The girls came out by c-section... let me tell you, that is some scary you know what! I walked into the OR and started to panic.  Very very scary and all I wanted was for them to get Aaron back there with me ASAP!  Aaron ended up taking a peek as he got up to leave after the girls arrived and he said that he will suggest to his friends that have babies by c-section to not look.  Wow thanks lol!  The girls had to go straight to NICU and be checked by the doctors because they were premature.  At first they were both in there, then that night Addisyn came to regular nursery and Austyn had to stay for temperature and breathing issues.  We got to have Addisyn with us for a few days, but on Sunday she got cold and had an apnic spell (stopped breathing for a few seconds) and got put back upstairs in NICU with her sister.  Aaron and I came home Monday and the girls had to stay.  I had nurses shocked that I was up and moving so well.  I told them how I have been stuck on bed rest for 6 weeks and I was over sitting around.  I got my butt out of that bed the next day after surgery! I am feeling good and ready to drive.  I got stuff to do! LOL

As of today (Wednesday, March 14) the girls are still in NICU, but each day they are doing better and getting stronger.  They are getting out of their isolettes today and increasing their feeds to however much they desire (Addisyn will be happy about this) and Austyn has no more IVs in her.  Addisyn has IV for antibiotics from apnic spell, but should get it taken out tonight or tomorrow!!! We are crossing our fingers for them to come home Friday, but we will have to see how they do over the next 24 hours.  Theyre sending them home on heart monitors as of now because of my lovely Addisyn's little move the other day of scaring the poop out of us.

We are so excited to get them home and hold them all the time!   It's amazing to be a mommy and daddy and we are both over the moon happy and excited that our 2 princesses have made it into the world.  They are more than we could have ever dreamed of!  We think that they do not look alike and it's funny that we already notice that they have 2 different personalities.  The NICU nurses love them and tell us every day how sweet they are! We have  been told that Austyn looks like Daddy and Addisyn looks like Mommy! I can't wait to see them in a few months and see if that holds true.  Below are some pictures of the girls and the past few days. I tried to get them in order, but I didn't do so well with that.
Call us if your ready to visit or even more so, BABYSIT or help!!!
